Bob Kane Reports: "The evening at The Pilot went very well and everyone appreciated the free pint of pride on arrival, during the evening presentations were made to players for best performance (Nev Chan) .
Other players got their photos taken with the various trophies that have been won by the Middlesex team this season. Everyone got a polo shirt /Tee shirt or mug.
Then everyone settled down to
play some casual fun games of chess (usually blitz which is played at 5
mins per game ) this did not interfere with the drinking too much which
went on till till the pub closed .
The team promised to wear the new shirts for our next match at The Pilot.
